Fungus – cause: Fungal sporeSymptoms: cotton wool growths often in patches on any part of the fish.
White spot – cause: ParasiteSymptoms: pin-head sized white spots on fish with clamped fins fish rubbing against solid objects.
Gill and skin flukes – cause: ParasiteSymptoms: rubbing against solid objects can cause heavy breathing may have whitish film over skin.
Costia – cause: ParasiteSymptoms: rubbing against solid objects, fish swim awkwardly with folded fins, rapid breathing.
Chilodonella – cause: ParasiteSymptoms: rapid breathing, whitish-blue opaqueness covering body mainly around eye, head and back.
Dosage: 10ml per 800ltr (176Gal): When used with Formaldehyde Answer use 10ml per 1600ltr (352Gal)
Switch off UV for 5 days, repeat after 7 days if problem persists up to 3 applications, do note use any other medication within 14 days of last treatment.
